Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Flight Director – Level 3 or Level 4 in Colorado Springs, CO. This 100% onsite role defining the art of the possible supports multiple satellite programs and requires an active SCI clearance.

You will lead a diverse team of operators, work with systems engineers to develop operational docs, and run 24/7 mission readiness activities to ensure readiness and success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mixed-discipline teams to mission success.
• Experience conducting on-orbit mission operations and resolving anomalies.
• Experience with at least one spacecraft subsystem (ADCS, CDH, COMM, EPDS, Thermal, FSW).
• Willingness to support a 24/7 environment with day/night 12hr shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of operators in mission operations.
• Provide mission operations support to satellite programs.
• Develop operational documentation for on-orbit checkout and commissioning.
