Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Degree in Cognitive Ergonomics, Psychology, Industrial Design or equivalent.
• 10 years of aerospace industry experience.
• Familiar with MIL STD, SAE ARP, ARINC standards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy cognitive ergonomics to support design, tests and analysis of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Support requirements development, task analysis, and human error analysis.
• Develop system HMI simulations and prototypes.
• Create and manage documentation for Human Factors activities in new aircraft and cockpit modifications.
• Elaborate User Centered Design activities for Flight deck HMI.
• Perform scenario-based Flight deck and UX evaluations per BA Flight deck philosophy.
• Interact with Flight Crews to assess cockpit usability and safety.
• Support certification efforts for 1302 and related regulations.
• Collaborate across multiple programs and platforms.
