Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. is seeking a Human Factors Engineer for Flight Deck Design in Fort Worth, TX. You will apply cognitive ergonomics to design, test, and analyze HMI for aircraft cockpits and support HFE documentation across programs.

Responsibilities include simulations, prototype development, and collaboration with flight crews to evaluate usability and meet certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Experience in cognitive ergonomics and human factors.
• 10 years aerospace industry experience with aircraft systems and regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy cognitive ergonomics expertise to support design, tests and analysis of HMI.
• Develop system HMI simulations and prototypes.
• Create documentation for Human Factors activities across programs.
• Support certification efforts for 1302 and related regulations.
• Interact with flight crews to assess cockpit usability.
