Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to develop and maintain firmware for small unmanned aircraft systems and related ground equipment. You will work across the full embedded stack from bootloaders to PX4 integration, focusing on reliability in real-world flight conditions.

The role requires 3+ years of embedded C/C++ experience, strong STM32/ARM skills, RTOS experience, and hands‑on hardware debugging. On‑site work in Auburn Hills, MI with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional embedded C/C++ development with shipped firmware.
• Experience with stm32 or similar ARM Cortex‑M MCUs.
• Experience with bare‑metal and RTOS (NuttX, FreeRTOS, Zephyr).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for STM32/Microcontrollers.
• Integrate PX4-based flight-control stack for aircraft capabilities.
• Design device drivers and control loops using SPI, I2C, UART, CAN.
