Job summary

Flexjet LLC in Stratford, CT is seeking a Flight Coordinator to serve as the central point of contact for Helicopter Flight Operations. You will work with the Director of Operations, pilots, crew, and clients to ensure accurate scheduling and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to FAA regulations, flight documentation, and collaboration across departments to optimize safety, efficiency, and client experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred and 1–3+ years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a group of dispatchers and facilitate quick and concise communications at all levels.
• Proficiency in Weather trends and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of department staff scheduling and assist in the approval of time of requests.
• Assist in scheduling and stacking of trips with emphasis on efficiency and cost reduction.
• Receive trip requests via email and/or phone and build with detail and accuracy.
• Interact with customers internally and externally with a high degree of professionalism.
• Produce various reports for company departments and clients.
• Liaison with Director of Operations and/or Chief Pilot regarding new landing sites and safety policies.
• Process waivers for sporting events.
• Manage flight schedule with efficiency and knowledge of client ownership.
• Partner with the Director of Maintenance for aircraft availability.
• Flight follow all aircraft movements.
• Assist accounting with bill reconciliation.
• Overnight On Call responsibility.
• Crew briefing.
• Monitor crew duty time.
• Secure ground transportation for clients if applicable.
• Communicate aircraft schedule/movements with satellite bases.
• Provide electronic flight documentation to satellite crew members.
• Support a teamwork atmosphere.

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Flight Coordination Team! Would you like to join our dedicated team providing luxury helicopter services?

As a Flight coordinator you will serve as a central point of contact for the Helicopter Flight Operations. You will interact with the department manager, executives, employees, and customers while providing the highest degree of customer service, confidentiality, and attention to detail. You will execute all aspects of flight scheduling, office administration, Weather, FAA regulation and company policies and procedures, to include that of Flexjet, oversight of department staff scheduling, as well as assist in the assignment of aircraft and the overall schedule.

What you will do…

• Process Waivers for sporting events
• Manage flight schedule with efficiency and knowledge of client ownership

Successful candidates have…

• College degree preferred plus 1-3+ years of experience preferred
• Flexibility to work on an as needed basis
• A general knowledge of weather trends
• Ability to lead a group of dispatchers and facilitate quick and concise communications at all levels
• Able to adapt to change on a continual basis
• Perform responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and demonstrate the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Flight Scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office Applications
