Job summary

Amazon AIR is seeking a Flight Capacity Planner to own the development and optimization of flight capacity strategies across planning horizons. You will lead schedule design, capacity allocation, and network modeling while partnering with Operations, Finance, and Analytics to influence senior leadership decisions.

This role drives efficiency, reduces cost, and improves service performance across the air network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• 2+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead flight schedule development across multiple time horizons for Amazon AIR.
• Develop data-driven recommendations on network design, routes, and capacity investments.
• Optimize capacity plans and network strategy to improve customer experience and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Process Engineering, and Procurement to align decisions.
• Design and develop planning and forecasting tools with Research Science and Technology.
• Analyze flight utilization, block hour efficiency, and network performance to find optimization opportunities.
• Monitor capacity allocation ensuring alignment with forecasts and constraints.
