Job description

Join the Breeze Crew: Seriously Nice Flight Attendant (Part-Time) – Windsor Locks, CT. Breeze Airways is growing, and we're looking for warm, level-headed, and genuinely kind people to join our Windsor Locks (BDL) crew base as Part-Time Flight Attendants. If you're the type of person who stays calm when things get bumpy, makes others feel welcome without effort, and takes pride in doing the right thing even when no one's watching, you might be exactly who we're looking for. At Breeze, we operate on five core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Creating a genuinely warm welcome from the moment Guests step onboard—helping with seating, luggage, and any questions that come your way.
  • Staying present and approachable, moving through the cabin regularly to check in on Guests.
  • Keeping your cool under pressure and turning tense moments into calm, human interactions.
  • Working closely with your fellow crew members—communicating clearly, respecting everyone's role, and solving problems together.
  • Staying flexible when schedules shift due to weather, operations, or other surprises.
  • Keeping up with FAA regulations, company policies, and ongoing training requirements.
  • Taking personal responsibility for being on time, prepared, and professional in appearance and attitude.
  • Serving meals, snacks, and beverages (alcohol included) with top-tier hygiene standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized cabin and galley, even in tight spaces.
  • Providing clear safety and evacuation instructions to Guests.
  • Administering first aid or medical care if needed, and keeping your emotions in check during high-stress moments.
  • Conducting security screenings and completing Autism Awareness Training.
  • Occasionally helping out in other departments when needed.
What You Bring to the Table
  • At least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to reach emergency equipment in overhead bins (height minimum) and have adequate head clearance in the cabin (height maximum).
  • Able to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well-groomed, and able to make a positive, professional impression.
  • A genuine service mindset.
  • Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
  • Ability to pass vision and hearing tests, plus security screening training.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test, TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check, and Breeze background check.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. and travel freely to/from the country.
  • Current passport with at least six months remaining at the time of application.
  • Ability to serve alcohol.
  • Willingness to relocate if operational needs require it (though BDL is your base).
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and reserve assignments.
  • Must live within a two-hour drive of Bradley International Airport.
  • Appearance guidelines to note: nose piercings allowed—a single 2mm or smaller stud only (silver, gold, or gemstone). No hoops. No other facial piercings. No teeth embellishments in uniform. Maximum of two earrings per ear while in uniform. Tattoos may be visible within company guidelines (details provided during selection).
  • Physical and personal abilities: standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 pounds; closing overhead bins with push/pull force up to 50 pounds; pushing beverage and food carts up inclines with force up to 60 pounds; assisting disabled passengers in and out of inflight wheelchairs; reading announcements and giving commands clearly in English; turning challenges into solutions; working independently while still being a strong team player.
What Breeze Offers You
  • Hourly pay: $25.00 – $37.50 per flying hour.
  • Monthly guarantee: 37.5 flying hours.
  • Training is paid—you’re compensated for your time learning with us.
  • Initial uniform and luggage provided by Breeze.
  • 401K with company match (eligible after 90 days).
  • Paid time off (PTO).
  • Travel benefits on Breeze starting after 30 days.
  • Travel benefits on other airlines starting after six months.
  • A workplace culture that actually means it when they say "Seriously Nice".
