Western States Envelope & Label in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Press Operator to set up, run, and maintain flexographic presses, ensuring production meets customer specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety procedures. You will monitor color and registration, perform startup inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.

• Experience setting up and operating flexographic printing presses.
• Ability to read production orders, specs, and artwork.
• Strong detail orientation and commitment to quality.
• Color vision and the ability to distinguish color variations.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specs.
• Review job tickets, specifications, artwork, samples before production.
• Install and position printing plates, cylinders, rolls, inks, and components.
• Set and adjust registration, ink levels, tension, speed, and press settings.
• Perform startup inspections and obtain approvals before production.
• Monitor print quality; compare to samples and specs.
• Identify defects and adjust presses to maintain quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and proper material storage.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Communicate status and issues to supervisors and shifts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
