Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Press Operator to operate medium web flexographic presses under the Printing Department Manager's supervision. You will load, run, inspect prints, adjust speed and alignment, and ensure color accuracy per specifications.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and one year of printing or manufacturing experience; forklift/clamp truck operation is a plus. We offer 401K, healthcare options, generous PTO, and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience and/or training in a printing or manufacturing role required.
• FTA certification preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operates PIT Equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and clamp trucks.
• Prints designs on rolls of paper stock using a medium web flexographic printing press.
• Inspects for imperfections and off-center impressions and adjusts speed, tension, and alignment accordingly using computer controls.
• Measures and matches color values to specification using spectrophotometer.
• Verifies printed designs match press schedule and meet customer specifications.
• Prepares roll stock and loads into printing press.
• Completes print job changeovers.
• Trains other associates as a subject matter expert.
• Maintains 6S housekeeping around printing presses.
