Cello-Wrap Packaging Inc. in Michigan is seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Operator to run our 8 color wide web, servo CI presses, ensuring high-quality print output and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with prepress, perform ink mix and plate setup, monitor color accuracy and production speed, and participate in training. Forklift experience is a plus; physical stamina required.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator in the printing industry.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Set up press equipment, including ink mixing and plate installation, ensuring alignment and registration.
• Monitor printing process for color consistency, quality, and speed.
• Conduct regular quality control checks and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with prepress to ensure files are print-ready.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Set up press equipment, including ink mixing and plate installation, ensuring proper alignment and registration.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency in color, quality, and production speed.
• Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the printing run to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure that files are correctly prepared for printing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and best practices.
