Job summary

Giro Pack, Inc (USA) is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to support production operations at our Vidalia, GA location. The Press Operator will safely operate Comexi Central Cylinder (CI) presses to meet daily quality and production goals under the Printing Manager's direction.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of flexographic press experience, direct CI press operation experience (prefer Comexi), shift availability for 2nd or 3rd shifts with overtime, color matching

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a flexographic press operator.
• Direct experience operating Central Cylinder (CI) presses, preferably Comexi brand.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) or 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am) with overtime.
• Excellent visual color matching, ability to read blueprints/work orders, and proficiency using measuring tools.
• Lift up to 50lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate Comexi central cylinder (CI) flexophographic presses.
• Mount plates, prepare inks (viscosity and color matches), and adjust web tension.
• Continuously monitor print quality and correct defects during production runs.
• Perform fast and efficient job changeovers safely.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
• Strictly comply with quality protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow inspection procedures and wear PPE when necessary.
• Report safety/equipment concerns to supervisor; perform other tasks as assigned.
