Smyth Companies, LLC in Minneapolis is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team on a compressed 3-day schedule. You will set up and operate a Nilpeter flexographic press, producing high-quality labels while meeting production and quality standards.

Expect 12.25-hour shifts (36.75 hours/week) with overtime after 40 hours, and pay between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour, plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of printing or press operation experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Preferred: experience with cold foil, hot stamp dies, rotary screens, tactile varnishes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or BRC quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Nilpeter flexographic press.
• Produce high-quality labels while meeting production and quality standards.
• Monitor and reduce material waste.
• Ensure press is fully stocked and running efficiently.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Smyth is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our growing team at our facility centrally located in the Twin Cities. If you have printing experience and strong mechanical aptitude, this is a great opportunity to work a compressed 3-day schedule while producing high-quality labels and packaging.

Joining Smyth with experience that includes c old foil, h ot stamp dies, r otary screens, and/or t actile varnishes AND you can deliver consistent quality throughput, your overall compensation would reflect those experiences.

Schedule
