Smyth is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our growing team at our facility in Minneapolis. This role offers a compressed 3-day schedule while producing high-quality labels and packaging.

You will set up and run a Nilpeter press, meet production standards, reduce waste, and work with the team on lean initiatives. Eligible candidates have printing experience and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• 4+ years of printing or press operation experience.
• Flexographic printing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Nilpeter flexographic press.
• Produce high-quality labels while meeting production and quality standards.
• Monitor and reduce material waste.
• Ensure press is fully stocked and running efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Flexographic Press Operator (3-Day Work Week)

Full Time Operative Minneapolis, MN, US

Salary Range: $30.00 To $40.00 Hourly

Smyth is hiring a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our growing team at our facility centrally located in the Twin Cities. If you have printing experience and strong mechanical aptitude, this is a great opportunity to work a compressed 3-day schedule while producing high-quality labels and packaging.

Joining Smyth with experience that includes c old foil, h ot stamp dies, r otary screens, and/or t actile varnishes AND you can deliver consistent quality throughput, your overall compensation would reflect those experiences.

Schedule

• 12.25-hour shifts (36.75 hours/week)
• Overtime available (paid after 40 hours)
• Competitive pay, $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and bonus opportunities
