Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in California seeks a collaborative machine operator to support Flexo setup and production. You will set up rails, print, and die cut sections, inspect dies, and ensure bolts are secure to maintain quality and safety.

You will monitor box quality, maximize equipment utilization, and complete reports on production, safety, and quality. The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to thrive in a manufacturing

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Set up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo according to setup techniques.
Inspect all dies before and after run; repair if needed.
Ensure all bolts for cutting dies are in place and securely tightened.
Monitor box quality (loose liner, warp, correct size, print) and check rolls for damage.
Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
Assist Operator, Assistant Operator and Utility with machine duties.
Complete reports on production, machine status, safety and quality.
Submit maintenance work orders for repairs.
Complete annual food packaging safety training.
Report safety risks or concerns and comply with company policies.
