Job summary

International Paper is hiring for a Flexo Assistant Operator in Griffin, GA. The role requires following safety rules, operating equipment, reading work orders, and ensuring quality in every box produced.

The position is hourly, full-time, with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with the ability to handle physical tasks and use measuring devices accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Desire and motivation to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices.
• Applicants must be able to stand, walk and reach at or below shoulder level, with repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Operate load former and understand stacking patterns.
• Identify and use approved dunnage.
• Form finished units at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
• Conduct quality inspections and produce quality boxes.
• Read work orders and customer requirements; select stock accordingly.
• Perform duties to meet production needs and assist others as needed.
• Accurately use tape measures and other measurement tools.
• Inspect, count, stack, and unitize products per specs.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming products and materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and machine cleanliness; foster teamwork.
• Work alternate shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
