International Paper in Griffin, GA is seeking a Flexo Assistant Operator to support our box production lines. The role offers $23.28 per hour in a full-time, hourly position with overtime potential.

You will follow safety rules, operate equipment, perform quality inspections, and read work orders to learn customer requirements. The job requires standing, walking, and lifting, plus teamwork to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Desire and motivation to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices.
• Applicants must be able to stand, walk and reach at or below shoulder level; frequent twisting, bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Operate load former and understand stacking patterns.
• Identify and use approved dunnage.
• Form finished units at a fast pace.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Produce quality boxes as per requirements.
• Read factory work orders and other docs to learn customer requirements.
• Identify stock and products matching work orders.
• Perform duties to ensure production needs are met.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Accurately use tape measures and other equipment.
• Inspect, count, stack, and unitize products per spec.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming products and materials.
• Maintain clean work areas and keep machine cleanliness.
• Maintain teamwork with machine crews.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime.
