Job summary

DECC in Duluth, MN is seeking a Concession Event Cook for weekend and evening events, including UMD Hockey games. This part-time role requires at least one year in cooking or prep, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety in mind.

You will operate large cooking equipment, prepare a range of items, and help manage production during rush periods while keeping areas clean and stocked. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking or prep cook experience.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety.
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concession items while upholding high quality and safety standards.
• Operate grills, fryers, flat tops, ovens and pizza ovens during events.
• Multitask to cover multiple cooking tasks and maintain hot holding area.
• Assist managers with food production and maintain clean work areas.
