Job summary

Legends Global, in partnership with ASM Global, is seeking a Concession Cook in Bemidji, MN to support food & beverage operations for live events. You will clean prep areas, cook batches like burgers and fries, and help package meals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. High school diploma or GED preferred, with culinary certificate or equivalent experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One-year certificate from culinary school or comparable experience.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes and prep list.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Basic knife skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
• Cook and package batches of food, such as burgers, chicken tenders, fries, hotdogs, and prepared BBQ meats.
• Wash and peel ingredients for meals.
• Cut and portion different types of meat according to specifications.
• Prepare different types of food by following recipes.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers.
• Keep food spoilage below minimum.
• Regular attendance and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
