Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect client sites across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, building diverse site experience and a flexible schedule.

This role offers hands-on growth opportunities in a dynamic team environment, with potential to enhance security skills and contribute to safer communities while gaining valuable field exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable security experience
• Background check and drug screen required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle
• Ability to work irregular shifts and adapt to different post assignments
• Operate radios and communicate effectively with the public

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders
