Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer for unarmed security across various sites in California. The role uses a shift-pickup platform to select assignments that fit your schedule, providing hands-on experience and growth opportunities.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and prepare incident reports while delivering courteous service to clients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and adaptable with good communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits; control access per client requirements.
• Respond to alarms and notify authorities as needed.
• Investigate incidents and maintain post logs and reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Maintain situational awareness and safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the public and team members.
• Follow post orders and document actions taken.
