Patch Caregiving is seeking a kind, motivated on-call substitute teacher to manage our play-based, multi-age care room in Atlanta, GA. You will care for children ages 2-12, lead activities and curriculum, and communicate with parents while keeping the space safe and engaging.

This part-time, variable-schedule role requires long-term commitment with shifts typically 10 am–5 pm or 4–11 pm, depending on employer needs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of Lead Teacher-like experience in daycare/preschool.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning.
• Experience with diapering and toilet training for toddlers.
• Strong communication with children and parents.
• First Aid & CPR certification (we can support completion before start).
• Some sites require background checks and immunization records.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all children in the care room
• Lead age-appropriate activities and manage group dynamics with empathy and skill
• Communicate regularly with parents and handle emergencies calmly
• Plan and implement curriculum and hands-on activities
• Maintain records, paperwork, and a clean, organized space
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and the Center Director
• Participate in ongoing training and enrollment/outreach events
