Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsement(s) is required for assignment.
• Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild to Moderate Support Needs is required.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and SPED compliance.
• Experience with neurodiverse learners in school settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in inclusion, resource, or substantially separate settings.
• Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain progress data.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
