Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify student needs.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district staff clearly.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with ARD to create evidence-based therapies.
• Provide therapy: deliver services or supervise assistants on IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: keep detailed progress records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings and conferences to advocate for students.
