Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC seeks a part-time American Sign Language interpreter to deliver high-quality interpretation via video relay and on-site at customer locations. The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, with strict adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and the ability to adapt to varying assignments.

Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, you will support call center operations, provide excellent customer service, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation and adherence to professional conduct.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
• 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful, professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness for shifts, and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to policies, FCC regulations, and adapt to new technologies.
• Travel independently as required; own vehicle and insurance when driving.
