Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect client sites across various industries. You will use a shift‑pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Verify authorized access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
