Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Professional Branch Flex Access Control Relief Officer to safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. You will work 30-40 hours weekly with manager-assigned and self-scheduled shifts, in West Palm Beach, FL.

The role offers irregular shifts with little advance notice, growth opportunities, and a clear path for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Shift availability including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
• Reliable transportation for Branch Flex assignments.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel the required distance for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted where required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
