Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse contractor to provide in-home care in the Denver area. This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to deliver one-on-one care that measurably improves patients’ quality of life.

You will assist with ADLs, transfers, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, while documenting time worked and reporting changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State-approved PCA training program may be required in some states.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility.
• Provide support with ambulation, transfers, and safe positioning.
• Assist with meal preparation and basic nutrition reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping to promote a clean, safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and engage in supportive interaction.
• Document time worked and services rendered per agency requirements.
• Report changes in patient condition to agency personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
