Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks staff to operate a bar, mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, maintain inventory, and handle payments from members. The role requires readiness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to pass sanitation training and health-card requirements.

Candidates should be able to walk or stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and meet age requirements of 21.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages from a bar using liquor, soda, beer, and wine.
• Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve or seek assistance as needed.
• Ability to reconcile collected tabs or chits with sale of items dispensed.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
• Maintains stock of inventory.
• Receives payment or charges to member's account.
• Makes change and is accountable for cash fund.
• Assist in taking inventory and maintaining records.
• Keeps bar clean and area stocked properly at all times.
• Washes bar equipment, glassware and utensils.
• Performs other related duties as required.
