Job summary

The Naval Academy is seeking a Bartender to support various Retail Dining venues, including the Alley Club, Anchors and Irons, and other Naval Academy events in Annapolis, Maryland. The role focuses on preparing beverages, serving guests, handling payments, and maintaining bar cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must be at least 21, able to obtain security clearance, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale and knowledge of beverages.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Front-facing customer service with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar.
• Receive payment or charge to member's account.
• Assist in taking inventory and maintaining records.
• Keep bar area clean and stocked properly at all times.
• Operate in a professional, sanitary, service-oriented manner.
