Job summary

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the culinary team in meal service and dining operations for seniors across assisted living facilities. You will help with meal presentation, ensure dietary needs are respected, and uphold high safety and sanitation standards in a compassionate setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to manage meals and dining logistics in a fast-paced senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of service experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality preferred.
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, portion control, and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Meal Service & Presentation: assist in meal prep, plate meals attractively, accommodate dietary restrictions, monitor temperatures, assist with trays and tickets.
• Sanitation & Compliance: maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, follow food safety regulations, store and label food, assist with deep cleaning.
• Resident Engagement & Support: provide courteous service, assist residents with accommodations, communicate dietary concerns to teams.
• Operational Support: set up/breakdown dining areas, assist with dishwashing, restock supplies, follow PPE guidelines.
• Other Duties as Assigned: support mission and collaborate with culinary team, participate in training.
