Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking flexible Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Brentwood and Essex. You will work in primary, secondary and early years settings, with a focus on SEN support, offering 1:1 or small-group help and creating a calm, structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school setting is preferred.
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day.
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments.
