Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to safeguard diverse client sites and support access control across multiple industries. The role emphasizes flexibility, shift-picking, and hands-on experience, with opportunities to grow into full-time roles while serving a range of customers.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass background checks and drug screening, and be able to obtain any required state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain state/local licensing as required.
• Background check and drug screening are required by law.
• No prior experience required for some hires; relies on reliability and adaptability.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).
• Able to operate radios/console monitors and report incidents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle and monitor areas.
• Identify irregular conditions and alert appropriate authorities when needed.
• Sound alarms and contact police or fire department in emergencies.
• Control access, verify badges, IDs, and deliveries at entry points.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per site orders.
• Keep areas orderly, secure, and compliant with post orders.
