Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries. The role leverages our shift-pickup platform to build a schedule based on availability, offering hands-on site experience and growth opportunities.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience; background checks and possible drug screening apply. Flex officers may work irregular shifts with little notice.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or forbidden articles.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client compliance.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary under site Post Orders.
