Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The role involves protecting clients across industries using a shift-pickup platform to build your schedule. You may work irregular shifts with little advance notice, gaining diverse site experience and growth opportunities.

Pay rate is $19.75 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), a valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/monitors and communication devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents; prepare and maintain written logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
