Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across varied industries. You will view and claim open shifts via our shift-pickup platform, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience.

The role may include irregular shifts with little advance notice. The position offers hands-on growth opportunities and a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour, with full-time status and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Background check required; certain histories may be considered per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; no prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed in some states).
• Reliability, adaptability to different posts, and strong communication.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment; interact with the public.
• Effective written and oral communication; problem solving and teamwork.
• Mediate conflicts and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire when needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Ensure proper access control and monitor property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
