Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries using a shift‑pickup platform to claim open shifts based on availability. The role offers hands‑on site experience and growth opportunities while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

This position may require irregular shifts with short notice. Candidates should be at least 18, meet education/licensing requirements as applicable, and be prepared for background checks and drug

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience).
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws; criminal histories considered as allowed by laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license if operating company or client vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department as needed.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees and visitors courteously and professionally.
