Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. You will use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience.

Typical duties include patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for hazards, responding to incidents, and assisting clients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or client vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by employer.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or consoles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
