Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries. You will use a shift-pickup platform to view open shifts and build a schedule that works for you, gaining site experience and growth opportunities.

Some shifts may be irregular with little notice. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), a valid driver's license if driving, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years verifiable experience may substitute.
• Licensing as required by state/local law; background check and drug screen.
• Driver's license if driving company or client vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or suspicious activity.
• Warn violators of rules (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit entry of authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
