Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across varied industries. You’ll use a shift-pickup platform to select open shifts based on availability, building a flexible schedule while gaining site experience. This role may require irregular shifts with little notice, supporting healthcare, education, finance, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as required by law; drug screen where permitted.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).
• No prior experience required.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and control access.
• Provide access control and monitor entrances/exits as required.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per post orders.
