Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple sectors and gain diverse site experience. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts that fit your availability, building a schedule that works while expanding your security exposure.

The role offers full-time hours with weekend availability and a starting rate of $18.36 per hour. Candidates must be 18+, complete background checks and drug screens, and may need licensing per local

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• No prior security experience required in some cases.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different posts.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitor systems.
• Ability to interact cordially with the public and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Verify authorized access and monitor property.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
