Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. You will view and claim open shifts via our exclusive platform, building a flexible schedule that fits your availability while gaining hands-on, site-based experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required; may consider applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/console monitors and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
