Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits your life while gaining site experience across multiple industries.

You may be asked to work irregular shifts with little notice. A high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience is required, plus license and background checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted for employment; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Be at least 18 years of age (or 21 if armed).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized persons access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client requirements.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
