Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. You will perform security patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents across diverse client sites, leveraging a flexible shift-pickup platform to build a dependable schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation as part of employment.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console equipment as required.
• Able to interact cordially with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access.
• Protect company property from theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications as required by post orders.
