Marksman Security LLC is seeking a Flex Security Officer for multiple sites in Plano, TX. The role offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with weekend, evening, and holiday work as required. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred, and a sign-on bonus is available for active Guard Card holders.

The position emphasizes high professionalism, access control, CCTV monitoring, and front-desk duties in a headquaters-like environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage all guest/visitor access and address violations when needed.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and log visitors; notify residents of arrivals.
• Protect people and equipment; enforce policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms for security.
• Patrol perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify risks.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, prohibited items).
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies; contact first responders.
• Identify and report safety and security concerns promptly.
• Ensure timely submission of required documentation (reports).
