Job summary

Castle Education is seeking Secondary Supply Teachers to join our Scarborough team, offering flexible opportunities across local secondary schools. You can work full-time, a few days a week, or occasional supply, with pay between £160 and £210 per day.

We provide weekly PAYE, holiday pay, and access to 25+ free accredited CPD courses. Roles include day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term placements with potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Secondary supply teaching experience or willingness to work across multiple schools.
• Ability to adapt to different classrooms and year groups.
• Excellent communication with schools, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide supply teaching across secondary schools in Scarborough and surrounding areas.
• Choose days or blocks to work according to availability.
• Engage with students and maintain classroom management during placements.
• Take on day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements.
