Job summary

Crestwood Local Schools is seeking flexible building substitutes for the 2026-2027 school year. The Renhill Group will place you as a building substitute at Crestwood High School, working on a part-time, on-call basis to support student learning.

As a substitute teacher, you will create a safe, engaging classroom environment, adapt to a changing population, and participate in online training to prepare for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Background checks (BCI & FBI) within past 12 months on file.
• Substitute teaching license or eligibility; licensing assistance available.
• Enrollment in STRS with 14% employer match.
• Pay: $110/day for first 5 full days; $130/day after day 5.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, effective classroom environment.
• Adapt to a rapidly changing student population with varied skills.
• Complete Renhill Group online training to ensure classroom readiness.
• Report daily to Crestwood High School and assist as needed.
