Job summary

Crestwood Local Schools is seeking flexible substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, on-call role requires a high school diploma and successful background checks, with Renhill assisting license processing if needed.

Pay starts at $110/day for the first five full days, increasing to $130/day thereafter, with STRS enrollment and benefits provided. Training is offered online to prepare you for the classroom.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Background checks (BCI & FBI) within 12 months, on file with Ohio Dept. of Education, or Renhill to obtain them at low rates ($55)
• Substitute Teaching License or copy of Teaching License; Renhill can assist in obtaining it

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a classroom environment that is effective, safe, and conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
• Teach with adaptability to rising and falling class sizes and varied skill levels.
• Participate in Renhill online training courses to gain necessary knowledge and confidence for classroom success
