The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store Cashier/Checker at 2535 S College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525 to deliver outstanding customer service and a safe, welcoming shopping environment. You will help customers, operate the POS, and uphold store policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities focus on engaging customers, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining accuracy, while following promotions and preventing losses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash shortages/overages guidelines and loss-prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and provide friendly service.
• Maintain food safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
