Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle cash, checks, cards, SNAP/EBT, loyalty offers and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and safety procedures.
• Identify pricing discrepancies and report to the Scan Coordinator.
• Provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming store environment.
