The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for a Cashier/Checker role in New Berlin, WI. You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them and assisting shoppers at the checkout, while handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Cashier/Checker greets, engages and assists customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and company policy.
• Ensure compliance with age-restricted items and safety procedures.
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and preventive maintenance.
